Dr. Macnab is a critical care clinician, university professor, distinguished scholar, award-winning researcher and global health project director. He has a reputation for innovation and excellence, and has led the application of several new technologies in medicine, including pioneering the use of near infrared spectroscopy in urology and spinal cord research. Many of his initiatives have been adopted nationally and internationally. He has > 50 years’ experience developing, delivering and evaluating aid projects, including the translation of evidence-based care concepts and technologies to improve the health of children and delivery of care in rural Africa.
