Paediatric Neurology and Epilepsy

Paediatric neurology also refers to child neurology, is a specialty of science that delves in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions in newborns, babies, children, and adolescents. This branch explores the abnormalities and diseases that are associated with the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nervous system, autonomic nervous system usually in children at various ages.
Epilepsy is one of more concerning neurological condition which is marked by frequent episodes of seizures. Epileptic seizures can be of duration from short, practically unnoticeable to extensive periods of intense shaking. These can result in various adverse situation including physical harm and fractured bones. Seizures in epilepsy are prone to recurrence and, in most cases, have no obvious cause.
