Paediatric Neurology and Epilepsy

At the 3rd Edition of the International Neurology Conference (INC 2025), pediatric neurology, also referred to as child neurology, is a specialty of science that delves into the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions in newborns, babies, children, and adolescents. This branch explores the abnormalities and diseases associated with the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nervous system, and autonomic nervous system, usually in children of various ages.
Epilepsy is one of the more concerning neurological conditions, marked by frequent episodes of seizures. Epileptic seizures can range from short, practically unnoticeable events to extensive periods of intense shaking. These can result in various adverse situations, including physical harm and fractured bones. Seizures in epilepsy are prone to recurrence and, in most cases, have no obvious cause.
