Molecular Neuroscience and Neurodegeneration

At the 3rd Edition of the International Neurology Conference (INC 2025), molecular neuroscience helps to understand complex mechanisms responsible for regulating the nervous system at the molecular level, highlighting the fundamental building blocks of neurology. It helps to navigate the understanding of how molecules like receptors, neurotransmitters, and ion channels execute neural function, aiding in the understanding of the progression of neurological disorders.

Neurodegeneration is a process in which neurons get damaged or become nonfunctional and can be responsible for many neurological disorders. Mostly, this is caused by age-related underlying neural issues. Alzheimer's and Parkinson's are some of the neurological diseases that are responsible for neurodegeneration. Abnormal protein aggregation, mitochondrial dysfunction, and oxidative stress are some of the plausible reasons responsible for neuronal demise.
